Google-backed VerSe valued at $5 after funding round

India's VerSe Innovation, parent of short-video app Josh and news aggregator Dailyhunt, has secured $805m in a funding round led by Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. As a result of the deal, VerSe has reached a $5bn valuation.
